Madhubani: Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a powerful message on Thursday, asserting that India will relentlessly pursue and penalize every terrorist and their supporters linked to the recent attack in Pahalgam, stating it will be done 'beyond their imagination.'
Speaking to a public assembly in Bihar, Modi declared, 'From this land, I announce to the world that India will identify, track, and punish every terrorist and their backers. We will chase them to the ends of the earth.'
In his first public comments following the tragic incident in Baisaran, which resulted in the deaths of at least 26 individuals, he emphasized, 'Terrorism will not go unpunished, and India's spirit will remain unbroken.'
Modi reassured the nation that every possible measure would be taken to ensure justice, stating, 'The entire country stands united in this commitment.'
He expressed gratitude to global leaders and citizens who have shown solidarity during these challenging times, saying, 'Everyone who believes in humanity is with us.'
The Prime Minister reiterated that those responsible for the attack would face consequences that exceed their expectations.
He condemned the attackers for daring to assault the very essence of India.
Earlier, during a National Panchayati Raj Day event, Modi and attendees observed a moment of silence to honor the victims of the Pahalgam attack.
Before his address, he requested the audience to remain silent in remembrance of 'our family members' who lost their lives.
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar also condemned the attack, affirming that the nation stands united against terrorism.
Panchayati Raj Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh expressed confidence in Modi's leadership, assuring that he would respond appropriately to the terrorists.
